The Hauler Bag Built Around Your Car – Koswork KOS32242, KOS32282 & KOS32283
Hauler bags are one of those things RC racers don’t think about until they’ve had a bad one. Drawers that won’t stay shut, a frame that flexes under load, wheels that catch on every crack in the parking lot — you notice every flaw when you’re hauling gear from the car to the pit at 7am on race day. Koswork has been making hauler bags long enough to have worked through all of those problems. The three bags below are what that experience looks like in practice.
KOS32242 – The 1/8 Classic
The KOS32242 is the bag I’d recommend to anyone running 1/8 buggy or on-road who wants everything in one place and wants it to stay there. The large bottom drawer handles the car, and above it you get three medium drawers, one small drawer, and a full-width top long drawer that runs the entire width of the bag — that last one is where your most-used tools live, and having it at the top means you’re not digging through parts drawers every time you need a wrench. The removable top tool pouch adds another 20 tool slots if you need them. The side pockets — two zipper pockets and a document sleeve — handle setup sheets and the things that don’t belong in a drawer. The backside pocket fits setup boards up to 470mm wide, which covers the KOS18001SET. Angled retractable handle, smooth casters. 600×390×600mm outside with wheels. Made in Taiwan.
KOS32282 – The 1/8 Star
The KOS32282 is also built for 1/8, but the drawer layout is different and it matters depending on how you pack. Instead of the Classic’s three medium plus one small plus the top long drawer, the Star gives you four medium drawers and a 14-slot top tool organizer. If you carry a lot of small parts across multiple categories and want them separated into equal-sized spaces rather than one dedicated tool drawer, this configuration makes more sense. Same solid frame, same waterproof materials, same retractable handle and smooth casters. The backside setup board pocket fits up to 480mm wide, compatible with the KOS18005SET. 630×360×550mm outside with wheels. Made in Taiwan.
KOS32283 – The 1/10 Star
The KOS32283 is the same Star series build scaled for 1/10 touring, drift, and sedan. Two large drawers fit two complete 1/10 cars — useful if you’re running multiple classes or keeping a spare body setup ready — and two medium drawers take care of parts and accessories. The 12-slot top tool organizer, side zipper pockets, and document pocket round things out. The backside setup board pocket fits boards up to 460mm wide, compatible with both the KOS18005SET and KOS18007SET. If you’ve been using a soft bag or a box that doesn’t roll, this is the upgrade that changes how race day feels — everything has a place, nothing moves around, and you can get to what you need without stopping to think about where it is.
