Two Sizes, One Job Done Right – Koswork UFO Tire Glue Bands KOS14605 & KOS14607
Getting a tire to stay glued properly isn’t just about the glue. The bands you use while the glue cures matter just as much — if the tire isn’t held firmly against the rim during that window, you’ll end up with gaps, lifted edges, or a bond that comes apart under load mid-race. Koswork makes two sizes of UFO silicone tire glue bands, each sized for a specific tire category, both built from high-elasticity material that holds its shape through repeated use.
For 1/8 Buggy, 1/10 Buggy & 1/10 SCT: KOS14605
The KOS14605 is the larger of the two, with an internal diameter of around 55mm. It covers 1/10 buggy tires, 1/10 Short Course Truck tires, 1/8 buggy, and 1/8 truggy — so if you’re running any of those classes, one set handles all of them. The high-elasticity silicone stretches over the tire and rim without fighting you, holds the bond area tight while the glue sets, and comes off cleanly afterward without leaving residue or distorting the tire bead. Four bands per pack, available in blue, black, red, and white.
For 1/10 Touring Car & Sedan: KOS14607
The KOS14607 is sized for the narrower 1/10 touring car and sedan tire profile, with an internal diameter of around 45mm. It also works on 1/10 buggy touring and sedan tires, which run at a similar width. The same high-elasticity silicone construction as the KOS14605, the same clean application and removal process — just the right size for on-road tires that the larger band would be too loose to grip properly. Four bands per pack, available in blue, black, red, and white.
