Lighten the Car Where It Counts: Carbon Fiber Upgrades
The shock towers are one of the easiest places to cut unsprung weight. Koswork’s KOS04081-03 Front & Rear Carbon Shock Tower Set is cut from 4mm high-quality carbon fiber — the front tower comes in at 13.4g versus 26g for the stock aluminum piece, and the rear is 16.6g versus 33.2g. If you only need the rear, the KOS04081-02 is sold separately.
Two more carbon pieces worth running: the KOS04081-06 Carbon Ackermann Plate replaces the stock piece with a stiffer carbon version, and the KOS04081-08 Carbon ESC Tray uses 2.5mm carbon fiber with aluminum posts for a clean, precise ESC mount.
Shock Rebuild & Tuning Parts
Shocks take a beating and the seals and pistons wear out. Koswork makes the full set of rebuild parts so you don’t have to chase down multiple suppliers. The KOS04081-34 Aluminum Emulsion Shock Caps & O-Ring Set covers the cap and seal in one package. For O-rings alone, the KOS04081-35 (12×2mm, pack of 4) and KOS04081-36 (1.5×1mm, pack of 8) handle the cap seals. The KOS04081-31 CNC Shock Cartridge Spacer Guide Set rounds out the rebuild kit.
If you want to tune damping characteristics, the CNC-machined Delrin shock pistons give you that flexibility. The KOS04081-41 runs 2×1.7mm holes and the KOS04081-42 runs 2×1.8mm for a softer feel. Self-lubricating material, precise CNC machining, sold in pairs.
Chassis & Suspension Hardware
A few hardware upgrades that make a real difference: the KOS04021 Aluminum Clamping Servo Horn 18mm 25T fits Futaba, ProTek, and Savox servos with a clamping screw design for a secure, backlash-free connection. The KOS04023 7075 Hard Coated Lower Shock Mount Screw Set is a straightforward upgrade from the stock hardware. And the KOS04026 Aluminum Sway Bar Collars in black work across the full EB/NB/ET/NT48 and MT/SCT410 2.0 range.
